As Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Business Compliance, I invite you to participate in this
Journal of Business Compliance Benchmarking Survey into the practical measurement and communication of the value and benefits of investment in compliance measures, staff and initiatives.
It is confidential and anonymous.
The value of compliance measures is reflected in the degree of peace of mind provided to the executive and management over time. Perversely, it is a common experience that the more distant compliance risk appears to be, the less recognition there is for the value of the assurance that measures invested in provide: Genuinely a case of “Out of sight, out of mind”.
How does one demonstrate an effective return on monies invested in compliance resources?
The purpose of this survey is to create a benchmark of current argumentations used by compliance departments to support their budget proposals, and an evaluation of which of these arguments prove most effective in gaining the support of the executive or management of the firm in approving those budgets.
The survey consists of ten questions that we estimate will require no more than 10 minutes of your time online. In return we shall review the findings and make these available to you by way of our Journal website and this blog. We, and many of your fellow practitioners thank you for your time and effort in completing this survey by way of the following link: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/5896B7Y
Please accept our thanks and our very best and sincere regards
